I thought it might be fun to have a thread where we can post things we hope to see in the next season or plots we'd like to see explored.
Here's my list:
-B&B second baby talk. (Not saying there has to be another, i just want hear the conversation)
-The squinterns graduate because, come on already.
-Someone surpass Brennan in the field of anthropology. I think that would be a very interesting story line. For so long she's been the best in world. But now that she has a family, and her free time is assumably spent with them, she's probably not clocking in extra time in the lab with research. Everyone gets surpassed eventually, and I'd likes to see a story about Brennan coming to terms with what a family can mean in her professional life.
-Less Sweets in the field... For the love of god please.

Great Idea for a thread. I'm going to put a pin in it.
I like all of those ideas for next season. Especially the idea of Brennan dealing with someone who surpasses her. We've seen people come close, but we've never actually seen it happen. And it's bound too.
For me personally, I'd like to see:
-Them really play out what happened in the finale -A continuation of Wendell's storyline. -Darker cases. (we so often just get cases where everyone involved is an asshole. it's hard to care at times) -A good long talk between B&B about how dangerous their jobs are and how they could potentially end up leaving their daughter parentless -I touching tribute to Ralph. The man who played Booth grandfather who died in real life.

All of those sound good to me. In addition, though, I have one major wish:
I'd like to see Cam, Hodgins and Angela given more in the way of character stories. They each used to get great character arcs throughout a season, now they may get two or three episodes and that's it. Mostly I feel like they're just used solely as tools to move the crime forward.
Like, 85% of Angela's scenes now are her holding a remote and staring at a screen.
And when they do get an episode, it just seems like some random storyline, which is eventually dropped rather quickly. Will we ever hear more about Hodgins brother? Angela and Hodgins deciding to have another baby...? Cam's random credit issues...
And then we see Sweets, who was just the couple therapy psychologist, now practically shares top billing with Brennan and Booth. I don't hate Sweets; I don't blame him for almost "destroying B&B" and I do think his presence has brought on some great scenes. However, it bothers me that so much attention is given to his character when we have three fantastic actors back at the lab whose stories have dwindled down to something only slightly above a joke.
Sorry, but this is probably my biggest complaint with what's happened to the show.

Sorry, but this is probably my biggest complaint with what's happened to the show. You know, I hadn't ever really thought about it like that. Sweets does bother me sometimes... I guess I didn't like that he suddenly became Booth's other unofficial partner. I know Emily and David probably can't have the filming schedule that they used to back in the beginning of the show, but it annoyed me that the seemed to have moved Sweets in as a remedy to that. It really isn't fair that his character gets so much in the way of story and some of our other supporting cast doesn't

My hopes for season 10
-More Christine. I thought it was pretty weird how she barely appeared this season. I know they had to cast a different actress, but could it have been that hard? It seemed like she disappeared from the show entirly, kinda like Parker has. -An amazing B&B reunion when Booth gets out of jail. I know shouldn't get may hopes up, but it's already too late. I want see the passion and I'll never apologize:P
** This is in addition to several of the things you guys said already, I just didn't want to repeat it.

Hopes for S10:
- B&B get a dog - tribute to Ralph Waite...would probably mean that Pops dies and Booth has to deal with his loss - B&B discuss having a 2nd baby (I hope they decide to, but don't need to see Brennan being pregnant again on show)
Also, not so much a hope but a question. DB just tweeted a selfie and he has a graying beard. Does anyone think they should let Booth start to go gray a little bit on the show? I mean, he is getting to the age where he probably would be. I love DB's hair dark (better than when he used to have it almost blonde in his earlier days) but a slightly graying Booth might be interesting. Thoughts?
