I loved the finale, it was great!! The episodes that DB directs are some of my favorites. I need to re watch it to truly take it all in. I was plowing thru dinner and had to watch my nephew’s college grad live stream directly after the show…. I knew this whole Booth going before a congressional subcommittee would end badly for everyone. I think Booth had a little inkling too. I was surprised that we saw the aftermath of the shooting first and then went backwards into the story. I have to say my favorite parts were Brennan going to Booth’s office to ‘help him pack’ and slipping him the note. I liked the ‘home invasion’ and the Brennan’s hospital scenes the best. You know the squints will do everything in their power to clear Booth and clean this mess up. I can see Booth going back to the FBI too. IMO since season two the seed has been planted that the FBI may not be clean and Booth isn’t the type to walk away from that. They might be able to salvage the mighty hut…

Welcome dukefan!
I would love for them to salvage the mighty hut. Brennan's got the money to do it, that's for sure.
Looking back at some gifs of the episode in slow motion, I wonder how much damage (like the bullet holes), was done using cgi. There might be quite a bit of the set left in pretty decent condition. I'd rather see them rebuild than just get a new place all together.
Very curious as to where they'll be living early next year, though. Again, Brennan's got the money to get her and Christine a nice temporary apartment. But something tells me that the more interesting choice would be to have them live with another member of the team, like Sweets did with them.

I don’t think they’ll be living with anyone, I have a feeling they’ll be off the grid for a while. Someone on the crew (I think HH’s assistant) tweeted a pic of the front door rigged to explode… some of it might be CGI but I think a lot of it was real. SN has said that the dynamic changes of season 10. So maybe they get a new house to go with the new dynamic

I agree. I don't think much of the shoot out was done with CGI. If any think they might have used dummy pieces to stand in for anything they didn't want to get completely ruined.
Major kuddos to the production team. That scene looked amazing. Definitely the best action scene the show has ever done.
And I hope Brennan doesn't crash with Sweets (or something like that), she is a grown woman. It might be kinda cool however to have her living with Max for protection. You got think that their lives are all still in danger.

I bet they used a lot of rubber pieces too, so people didn’t get hurt . Brennan living with Max would be kind of cool to see, but they’ve kind of all ready did that when Brennan was on the run. plus the FBI has to know she was with him last time and he’d be the first place they’d look I would think.

Yeah, you gotta figure the bad people in the FBI know she'll be continuing to work on what's going on and trying to clear Booth-- the whole team for that matter. I wonder if the lab will shut down or if Brennan will be put on some sort of house arrest. She could be seen as an accomplice to Booth. Sounds a little far fetched, but after them arresting Booth like that and not letting Brennan see her husband... Wouldn't put it past them.

I think Angela will come up with a way for them to work off the grid if need be and Brennan will be there helping somehow. She worked the Pelant case before she was cleared of killing Sawyer; you know she’ll to anything and everything to get Booth back… The FBI not letting her see Booth was so they couldn’t get the story straight and they couldn’t talk about what to say and what not to. Plus the FBI knows how deeply Brennan cares for Booth and they might be hoping that in her grief she’ll let something slip out that if she were calm she wouldn’t. And too they can use seeing Booth as leverage, if she clams up….

Angela seems like the only one (I guess other than Booth and the C40), that's really ready for something like this. She was on it the moment her system at the lab started to go down. She seems like she's got an emergency plan ready to go if shit hits the fan again... I mean, she was even ready when B&B's wedding got derailed!
Her preparedness combined with Brennan's determination and the rest of the team... FBI better watch out!
